Autism Programs Hit Home

Earlier this week we addressed autism. We received a lot of response to these programs, which is gratifying.

The three day conversation was originally broadcast a few years back, before I knew that one day soon I’d be the parent of a boy with autism. That development put a whole new level of meaning in the studio work we did to present these programs again. Dr. Dobson and I talked about that change in the first day’s close.

CBS news recently aried a series of reports about autism. I was appreciative of the realistic way that autism was portrayed. It is a difficult condition to work with, and parents harbor a combination of hope and fatigue when raising an autistic child.
