A Prophetic Warning
Strong warnings in this exhortation from Dr. John MacArthur. This message resonated with listeners when we first aired it - so many responses and requests for the audio CD and video that this was our #1 program in 2007.
Didn’t hear it first time around? Now’s the time…
One Saint Talking About Another
Here’s a captivating presentation.
Notice how the pace and intensity builds. What an ending!
Classic stuff,
Close To My Heart: Adoption Stories
I’ve shared on the air about our family’s adoption experience. Quite a long process, and our little guy makes it worth it all.
The adoption movement is growing, and many concerned individuals and families have questions. For an unvarnished look at what some families have faced, and how they’ve seen God at work in their “adoption journeys,” listen in.
Life Changing Encounter
It seemed like a “chance encounter,” really, but when he went to the ranch, life took a dramatic turn. Here’s his story.
Tonight Only: Talk To The Experts
Tonight only, our friends Bill and Pam Farrel are participating in a special edition of the Focus on the Family marriage forum. This is your opportunity to interact with these folks about anything on your mind.
Differences In Love?
During the honeymoon, the two lovebirds had a picture-book time. They basked in the joy of their new life together, with unhurried conversations, quiet moments of closeness and sightseeing in the mountains.
Penetrating the bliss, however, was a spat that would bring about hurt feelings and some confusion. She wanted a special momento of the time, a piece of pottery from a little shop. He was too practical to “waste” money on such a trivial expense, espcially one that “would probably only break before we get it home.” It took quite a while for those hurts to heal.
My wife and I have known each other since 1983, and during the years we’ve been together we’ve enjoyed - even delighted - in the differences between us. Early on, however, we had more than a few instances of learning about those differences, and some of those events were pretty difficult to work through. That honeymoon illustration reflects what we had to deal with during our first week together.
Married couples know all too well that there are inevitably significant differences between them. Bill and Pam Farrell speak knowledgably about those differences, offering excellent insight and some wonderful humor along the way. Every married couple should hear this two-day series. Why not copy the link and send it onto someone who might benefit from their thoughts?
Can’t Imagine
I lived in Texas for about 10 years, and could imagine some of the scenes Maury Davis painted with his stories on this memorable two-day presentation. The hot summer sun, the black dirt, the terrain…I could picture those things.
I cannot, however, imagine the life he lived in prison. His account of being with the biggest and baddest of the inmates, the difficulties he faced and the lessons God taught him…these things come to life through his stories, but I still cannot put my arms around that experience.
It is incredible to hear of the new faith this man had in God, despite the circumstances, and it is wonderful to hear how God met him in some of his darkest moments. Listen in!
There May Be Better Ways To Propose
I’m all for tradition, but can technology be employed just a bit too much?
Still, this little gadget is used for many other useful tasks. Why not propose marriage with it?
A creative fellow used his mobile phone/PDA to pop the Q.
She said yes!
Reasons To Pray

Listen to this program for insights about how you can direct your prayer life to become more focused and effective in the coming year. The guests are “prayer warriors” who spend a great deal of time on their knees.
Changed Life, Changing Lives
Manny Mill is a former a prisoner. His life changed dramatically when he encountered Christ, and in the years following his passion for helping Christian inmates has led many to find the Savior.
Manny’s story is compelling and very entertaining. Along the way, it is also quite inspirational and even challenging. I really appreciate his heart, which you will hear loud and clear.
