Groovy, Man

Take a trip back to the enlightened “Age of Aquarius.” Those turbulent 60s were hard for a lot of folks, but God intervened in some dramatic ways in the lives of at least four folks - our guests for this two-day flashback series.

Tidbit: Back in ‘93 when this was recorded I was the show’s producer. It was pretty fun to work with our guests. Today two of them are still here at Focus. That’s longevity!

Hi, my name is Ralph. I just have a question about Religion and politics. Why do so many Christian leaders get so involved in Politics?

Would Jesus get involved if he were on Earth or would the Deciples be involved with Government.

I am so cofused by all the views from different christian leaders like, Hagee, Sharpton, Dobson and others.

You know, I am not a regular Church goer, but I believe in Christ as my personel Saviour and that you cannot enter the Kingdom but through Christ.

I try to live by faith and prayer. It just seems especially during Campaign seasons, that all the Christian leaders come out and get involved with comments and endorsments for candidates, why?

I don’t believe in my heart that it is right for Christian leaders to get involved
