Thank you so much for your interview with Stephen Curtis Chapman. He and his family touched me so deeply. Losing someone close is so difficult. I have only lost my grandmother and her death affected me in so many ways. I miss her every day and think of her always. She passed over 13 years ago. I have a dear friend that lost a child over 20 years ago but each year on the anniversary of her child's death she has a tough time. Thanks to this broadcast & Stephen's beautiful story I now have a way to talk with her and perhaps love her through that time.

Is there a cd of the Stephen Curtis Chapman interview that may be purchased ? I would like to have several people listen to it . Some are people who have lost children and are still greiving abnormally after 18 years . I think it might help in understanding some things .

Thank you for airing the interview .

We're frequent listeners and this was one of the most powerful programs ever. It covers a topic that is often avoided - the loss of a child.

Our family lost our beautiful 24 yr old daughter Cris some two years ago. She died unexpectedly from Epilepsy, a disease she fought from birth. She had graduated from college the year before and was working in a summer intership when she died. Cris was a fighter and a shy, kind, courageous young women who life and passing had an impact on so many people.

Please discuss this topic -- there are many people in this situation who will always carry this pain until they meet their children with the Lord.

As a stay-at-home Mom of 3 ages 2,4,6. I catch FOF radio broadcast around 9:30 and as I rush around cleaning, etc. I'm very thankful for the helpful programs. The SCC broadcast was so touching and since we don't have TV in our home I downloaded the ABC & Larry King and was so touched at the witness this family is being in their hold on faith throught their grief. I recently had to testify at church and spoke on the subject "WHY NOT ME?" Too often we look and say we'd rather not have our trials and tribultations - tests of our faith. If we could pick and choose "point & click" our lives would we choose the things that would most bring glory to God? We'll never understand, but we don't need to as long as we allow every experience to bring us closer to God. I pray that Will Chapman will do just this with his personal tragedy as well as the rest of the SCC family. I read another blog on another website about the witness they were personally to Larry King, may this bring fruit also. I hope you're forwarding all of these comments in your blog to this wonderful family. We know compassion and comfort with prayers strengthen our brothers & sisters in Christ! May each of us strive to be more CHRIST like in all ways! God bless your ministry at FOF!

Dear Focus on the Family,

Your radio broadcast provides comfort and healing beyond what you can imagine. I was so touched and inspired by the interview with Steven Curtis Chapman.

My husband and I married as teenagers and we have 3 kids (we've grown up together). Early in our marriage my husband lost his 28-year old brother in a car accident, then six years later his sister was murdered at age 29. My husband is the youngest of 3 and the only one still living. How loss impacts each person is so complicated--the grief is undescribable. After my sister-in-law's murder I found myself in that deep dark pit of depression, questioning God's plan. Listening to Dr. Dobson's broadcast on "When God Doesn't Make Sense" left me sobbing many years later and I still need to read that book.

Thankfully God is putting the broken pieces back together little by little and making a new story, while giving me patience to wait on Him. Today I know that just because I don't understand His plan I CAN STILL TRUST HIM!

I loved hearing Steven Curtis Chapman describe how in heaven it won't matter how we died we will just be saturated in LOVE (I believe that to be true). I'm so glad he is strong enough to share his pain with everyone so we can all be blessed and comforted, and my heart goes out to each member of his family.

Thank you so much for your ministry and it's deep healing touch!

My husband and I have enjoyed every bit of the interview with Steven Curtis Chapman. I had taped it so I could send it to our daughter out of state in college. We felt led to share it with our church family last evening for Wed. night prayer and Bible study. It blessed every one there. We played all 3 tapings. I don't thing there was a dry eye there! Thank you for such a wonderful forwarding of how God works all things for our good. In the 9 yrs of pastoring this little home missions church, my husband has conducted l8 funerals directly or indirectly related to this pastorate. This testimony spoke volumes to all of us.
Could you email me the area I can go to for viewing the little art work of Maria? Also, didn't Dr. Dobson say the interview was on a link? I couldn't find it. Thank you again for the ministry you all are in. I would love to send love offerings, however at the present time it is all we can do to keep head above water. When God Blesses us some more with financial Blessings, I will send some your way. I promise!!!

Thank you for the intimate interview with Steven Curtis Chapman. I was glued to the radio via internet and was so moved. I lost my sister very unexpectedly just one month ago and My daughter danced with her daddy to Cinderella in March at her wedding. What timing. The "God of All Comfort" is best represented through the fellowship of believers sharing their grief together. Thank you Again!

This 3 part broadcast with Steven Curtis Chapman will always be a "favorite". that's hard to write when the topic has been so devastating. But after watching the other interviews, it was so precious to hear their conversation, for Steven to feel completely free to proclaim Christ in the midst and be understood by Dr Dobson and those of us listening with our hearts bent towards him. To hear the emotion in Dr Dobson's voice after SCC sang. He just said one word, "Steven..." it was so tender and packed with emotion and caring and pain.........I'll never forget it.

Thanks for the awesome programs.

I am a father of three girls and a boy (all grown up). I have given my three girls in marriage. Listening to SCC singing Cinderella was just amazing. I know that's the strength that comes from Above. SCCs songs have been such a blessing in our family. As the psalms say, "because he trusted in his Lord, his Lord will hold him". His strength is still perfect. Juan

Thank your so much for providing a venue for the "rest of the story" Really as the Doctor pointed out it really is the center of the story. So great that the whole story finally could be shared. Thank you!
