My husband Earl and I would like to tell you and your family how sorry we were to hear about your son Christopher’s passing. We too lost our Son Christopher on August 27, 2007. He was 35 and was in a motorcycle accident. He was a member of CCSB for the last 6 years and Downey CC before that. He was our prodigal son of whom we were very proud. He was active in the Sports Ministry at CCSB. I have one question. I saw somewhere that you refered to your Christopher as Topher. We too called our Chris Topher. When Chris went to kindergarden he came home so excited that he knew how to spell his whole name… Chris Topher. Ever since then he was Topher. He had thought that was his last name. May I ask why you called your son Topher? I just hadn’t heard any one use Topher besides us. We know what you all are going through. We too have been there and until you lose a child you have no idea of what a broken heart really is. Even though we know where our Topher is and that he is in a better place and we will see him again it doesn’t ease the pain. I thank God every day for us being chosen to be Chris Topher’s parents. God Bless You.
