Our theme on a recent Focus on the Family broadcast centered on the ways we tend to shield ourselves in different relationships by hiding behind emotional masks. During that conversation, guests Julie Ann Barnhill and Shaunti Feldhahn talked about being addicted to pride. On the following link, we’ve provided a quiz which you can take to help you identify whether you are operating either from a position of pride or brokenness in your relationships. You can find that quiz by clicking here. Look for the “Web Exclusives” box on the left side of that page.

In the last broadcast about wearing a mask you mentioned a quiz which we should be able to find on your blog, I’m afraid I cannot locate it.
I was just watching the video of the family who adopted 2 young children, sorry I can’t remember their names. God has been speaking to us through our little girl, who is aged 7. She has been asking us to either have another baby or adopt one! I have felt prompted on occasion to do so, but hesitate, yet knowing full well that God will have His way!! How beautiful to hear and see God move this way! I had a dream a while ago, and a vision of me holding an asian baby. We have been encouraging our little girl to ask God, so of course she has! We have 3 girls already, and they too, have longed for us to adopt an orphan. My husband is hesitant, but to hear how Stephen Curtis Chapmans wife was, yet eventually grasped Gods will has encouraged me. Thankyou!
