Lessons From Susan Boyle

Goodness, can that woman sing! She wasn’t taken seriously by the judges…until she began her song. What a magical moment to watch!

I’m glad that Jackie Kass put together some “teachable moment” lessons from this remarkable, Cinderella story that parents can talk about with their kids.

Inspirational!

    SUBJECT: Susan Boyle

    BODY:
Susan Boyle’s “GOD’s Gift of Voice” is a Precious Jewel hidden in a most unlikely place!

Susan Boyle’s experience brings tears! The tears come from the great contrast of “The World” behavior against GOD’s Gift of Voice. Because of the darkness of the masses having one mind in prejudging, ridicule, and public torment; Susan Boyle’s voice becomes a burst of GOD’s Light dispelling that darkness.

It reminds us, as “The World” is getting stronger is these days, GOD still reigns over the darkness and shine HIS light wherever HE chooses – even as a Voice from Susan Boyle; a child grown from a small unknown obscure village in Britain. Just as Jesus was born from poverty in a stable manger in a small obscure town known as Bethlehem.

Yesterday I heard Susan Boyle sing for the first time and it brought tears to my eyes. I saw the audience staring at her and laughing at her and I thought that’s what the world does naturally – looking at the outside (thinking nothing good can come out of her) while our Lord looks at the heart and gives us such wonderful gifts – to people such as Susan’s voice.
